HAT ezine
The first step to getting information and insight from HAT is to sign up for our ezine. This is sent weekly during the season and occasionally in the run up to the season when there is some news.
The ezine offers up to date insights on the current off piste snow conditions. We translate the latest avalanche bulletin from Meteo France. You will also get a summary of the weather outlook for the next 5 days based on our review of 5 different forecast sources.
Each week we offer free tips on avalanche awareness and safe off piste practice. These are directly related to the current conditions.
You will also be the first to hear about any new services or ideas from the HAT team.
Verification email

Current conditions
We publish details on current conditions in Val d'Isere and Chamonix. You will find our own snow updates, some photos in our photo albums, avalanche forecast translations and Henry's ski diary. So you can see what it is like right now Click on the links in the top left of each web page.
Off piste snow depths
Last season, we recorded the actual off piste snow depths as reported each week by Meteo France for the Haute Tarentaise.
We will update this each week through this season. We also have displayed the historical averages for on piste snow depths as reported by the Ski Club of Great Britain for the past 13 years.
