HAT programmes

HAT offers four different types programmes.  They will all help you to get more information and acquire new skills to stay safe and have more fun in the off piste.

Henry's Avalanche Talks

The orginal practical guide to staying safe and having more fun out there.   Learn the basics of good practise, where to go, how to go, when to go.  Understand more about avalanche danger.    Always fun, expert presenters, sensational video, awesome avalanche photos and see Henry setting one off an accidental slide back in 1988.

Henry's Avalanche Talks will be back in Dicks T Bar in Val d'Isere on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18.00 through out the season.

A free party!   We start on December 1st.  If you are thinking of coming to Val d'Isere for the opening weekend on 1st December, then we will be hosting our first talk of the  season and a welcome party on that Saturday.  Email us for your invitation
Henry’s Avalanche Talks in Chamonix on Wednesdays at 18.00 in the MBC.

Beeper training.

Learn how to rescue your friends.   Wearing an avalanche transceiver is a great start and in an accident it will help to be found.  But if you do not know not know how to use it for search and rescue, then you will be not much use to your friends, if they go down.   N.B. 'Beeper' is our shorthand for avalanche transceiver and is much easier to say

Beeper Training in Val d’Isere on Wednesdays and Fridays at 14.00.
